Marissa Moore is a new artist from Upstate New York, now residing in Boston, Massachusetts.

She grew up in a family full of worship leaders, which naturally fueled her passion for music.

While in college, she had experience performing on stages all over the country in a gospel choral ensemble. After graduating college, she became a solo recording artist and producer.

Her first studio single, Child Let Go, was recorded in Franklin, TN at Off The Row Studios.

When asked what drives her to create music, this is her response:

"I want to write songs for those who thought they weren’t good looking enough to be with their crush. For those who felt like they had to dumb down their intelligence in order to fit in with the cool kids. For those who feel like they don’t fit in anywhere. For those who feel like they work so hard to meet someone else’s expectations only to be dying inside. For those who think differently but are unable to express it. Why? Because I was the fat girl who longed to be the skinny blonde the boy I loved wanted to be with rather than me. I felt like I had to be a million different people just to be valued and thought I couldn’t be loved just being myself. I’m too white to be black, too black to be white and I could never be what I actually am…a little of both. I am uniquely me. You are uniquely you. And I want you to know that and have a place where you be the best version whoever that is!"

Marissa is currently writing songs for her first full length album, which she plans on releasing in 2024.
